Elevated time, permeated the body, full void awakens clenched hands within the walls, what remains, guess what: mud, clay, paper, wood, beeswax, linen, oil, pigments, water, stone, silver.
We want these things to remain in the field of ideas, mobile and mutable, in permanent formulation. We speak about baptism, about the modelling of this clayey material picked up from the ground of the vineyards beside the studio, of melted beeswax with pigments spread on the linen, of oil paint pastes flattened on the surfaces, intensities and densities of pigments and graphite powder dissolved in rainwater, flax and poppy seed oils.
Speaking of bodies which, light or heavy, full of experiences and teachings, move and articulate the substances, organize the formless, the invisible, the unspeakable, the new, without name and without any living time.
